Laboratory Technician

Responsibilities

• Support routine laboratory testing and sample preparation activities in accordance with approved procedures.
• Accurately document laboratory work, sample information, and results in logs, reports, and digital systems.
• Assist with sample handling, storage, and disposal in compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, work spaces, and inventory in clean and operational condition.
• Support QA/QC activities and audits as directed by laboratory leadership.
• Perform risk analysis before assigned tasks to identify and mitigate safety or quality concerns.
• Participate in HSE and Quality initiatives and maintain required safety training.
• Wear appropriate PPE and comply with all HSE policies and procedures.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Fewer than two years of relevant laboratory or technical experience.
• Interest in laboratory work and willingness to learn technical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.

• Prior coursework or hands-on experience in a scientific setting (e.g., high school chemistry, technical school, or college lab classes).
• Familiarity with basic laboratory equipment or procedures.
• Basic computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
