Southwest Area Career and Technical Education Academy (SWCTE) is seeking a motivated and skilled Diesel Technology Instructor to lead our high school Diesel Technology program beginning the  school year. This full‑time position will provide instruction for students in grades 1012, teaching Diesel Technology I and Diesel Technology II. The program offers students hands‑on experience in a modern lab environment focused on general diesel equipment and systems.

Students will explore the diesel industry while learning foundational skills in safety procedures, equipment identification, use of hand and power tools, basic diesel systems, and career pathways.

This position is also eligible to serve as a Skills

USA Advisor.

Southwest Area CTE Academy (SWCTE) is a regional partnership of seven high schools serving southwest North Dakota. The campus operates on a 185‑day school schedule.

• Eligible for ND CTE licensure and ND Educator's Certificate
• Four years (8,000 hours) of industry experience within past eight years
• Postsecondary training may substitute up to two years
• Completion of Transition to Teaching requirements

• Industry knowledge in diesel or heavy equipment
