Pediatric Hospitalist Physician

Summary:
Facility is looking for a Pediatric locum to work 24hr call 7 days per month

Schedule/Availability Requirements:

Need second or third week of Feb

Plus ongoing coverage in 2026

Setting:
Critical Access Hospital, Labor and Deliver/Pediatrics Unit/Level II nursery

Duties

Required:

Attend vaginal deliveries if requested, Attend all scheduled and emergent C-Sections, admit/discharge newborns, admit/care for pediatric patients, circumcisions

Days per month:7 days per month

Required Procedures:
Circumcisions, newborn resuscitation/ intubations/UVC , lumbar punctures

EMR:

Meditech

Support Staff:
Nursing team. Level II nursery nurses, anesthesia, ob/gyns, Respiratory Therapists, local pediatricians to consult with, NICU located in Bismarck (90 miles) with consulting physicians.

Reason for Coverage:
Current locum was not a good fit.
