We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Pediatrician for a 42-day locum tenens assignment in North Dakota. This opportunity begins on Mar 16, 2026, and requires coverage for 7 days per month with 24-hour call shifts. The Pediatrician will provide inpatient newborn and pediatric care, attend deliveries and C-sections, and perform key procedures as outlined below. The ideal candidate will hold an active ND license or IMLC, possess current ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications, and have a clean malpractice history.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Attend vaginal deliveries if requested
• Attend all scheduled and emergent C-sections
• Admit and discharge newborns
• Admit and care for pediatric patients
• Perform circumcisions
• Conduct newborn resuscitation, intubations, and umbilical venous catheterization (UVC)
• Perform lumbar punctures

Additional Information

• Board certified or board eligible in Pediatrics highly preferred
• ND license or IMLC required
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
• Clean malpractice record required
• Availability at time of name clear required
• A Self-Query NPDB report, dated within 30 days of presentation, is mandatory
