Spanish Speaking PTA Physical Therapy Assistant for Home Health

Feld Care Connects is seeking a self‑motivated Spanish‑speaking Physical Therapy Assistant to provide quality home healthcare to patients in the Diamond Bar area. The role is an independent contractor position based in the Diamond Bar area.

The Physical Therapy Assistant in Home Health is responsible for patient care related to mobility, pain reduction, function restoration, and disability prevention. Based on the assessment and evaluation performed by the PT, the PT Assistant ensures treatment plans are followed, performs interventions, and evaluates progress.

A Physical Therapy Assistant must:

• Provide services defined by state laws governing the practice of a Physical Therapy Assistant, in accordance with the plan of care and in coordination with other members of the health care team
• Help patients use therapeutic, creative, and self‑care activities to improve functioning and safety
• Observe, record, and report patient responses to treatment and changes in condition
• Instruct patients, families, caregivers, and the health care team in areas of therapy that they can participate in

Qualifications:

• Ability and enthusiasm for working with all ages
• Physical Therapy Assistant license and registration in the state
• Completion of a Physical Therapy Assistant curriculum approved by the American Physical Therapy Association, the Council on Medical Education and Hospitals of AHA, or the Council on Medical Education of AHA
