• Conduct time studies, perform zero base analysis, rate analysis, network analysis, statistical analysis, flow path analysis, and supply chain analysis.
• Develop metrics for business units within Global Logistics.
• Identify logistics process improvement opportunities through competitive analysis and critical thinking.
• Support and/or lead cross‑functional strategic or process improvement projects.
• Develop business tools and solutions based on knowledge, product or technology.
• Develop reports and run ad‑hoc queries.
• Identify and develop business rules and standard operating procedures to streamline operating processes.
• Develop and maintain cost estimates, forecasts, and cost models.
• Provide facility and capacity planning analysis for distribution and transportation functions.
• Review and recommend system/software enhancements.
• Develop metrics and key performance indicators for assigned business units.
• Support the development of distribution, logistics, & warehouse process improvements in the plant, specific to WMS, LGV, AS/RS, and various other automated or integrated material handling solutions.
• Design, specify, purchase, and install new equipment, tools and infrastructure improvements with assistance from plant team members.
• Drive continuous upgrade of production facilities and processes through cost‑effective capital projects to meet changing requirements.
• Work closely with Plant Leadership Team, Facility Managers, Supervisors, and other key managers to implement initiatives to enhance productivity.
• Drive process improvements as new technology installations, current process enhancements, and cost control initiatives.
• Use fundamental engineering concepts, practices, and procedures to analyze operational data/methods, identify performance improvement opportunities, and/or implement technology systems that meet business objectives.
• Provide analysis, reporting tools, and engineering support for field operations to control and justify operational costs.
• Encourage the use of modeling and simulation to validate assumptions or theories on systems.
• Integrate safety engineering methods into the design process for early detection of possible failures.
• Research, analyze, and consolidate technical or engineering information and present for management review.
• Prepare accurate expenditure proposals and cost justification analysis.
• Formulate and present document research, progress, and results to team members and internal customers.
• Apply project management fundamentals and concepts with management guidance.
• Develop progress reports, meeting minutes, and field communication memos for management review.
• Design, develop, and implement mathematical modeling and optimization algorithms to deliver competitive intelligence and improvements in business processes.
