Substantive, full time, 10 Programmed Activities per week plus on-call

(part time may be considered)

South West Yorkshire Partnership Foundation Trust are recruiting for a Consultant Psychiatrist to join the Ward 18 team based at Priestley Unit, Dewsbury and District Hospital, Dewsbury. This role plays a vital part in ensuring our patients receive the care that they need and will be an integral role within the Calderdale and Kirklees acute pathway. This is a well-established 23 bedded mixed gender general adult inpatient unit that is well supported by a specialty doctor and up to 3 resident doctors.

This vacancy is due to the current postholder moving to another post within the Trust. The post is open to all eligible candidates who satisfy the essential criteria of the person specifications in the job description.

This is a full-time post with 10 PAs and attracts 2 additional PAs for flexible working and caseload management that is reviewed every year at Job Planning. There is also on call supplement available.
