As a Teller, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming experience for members while providing accurate financial transactions and personalized solutions. This position is based at our DeWitt, IA location, with occasional regional travel to other branch locations.
Education And Experience- High School Diploma or equivalent; additional education in finance, business, or related field is a plus.
- Relative experience in customer support, problem solving, and providing quality service is preferred.
- High level of integrity and commitment to exceptional member service with genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to build rapport quickly, actively listen, and develop strong member relationships.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Team-oriented with flexibility to adapt and support various member needs in a fast-paced environment.
- Actively listen to members' needs to identify, assess, and educate on solutions such as deposit accounts, loans, and credit cards.
- Process a variety of transactions (deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, check cashing) accurately and efficiently.
- Respond to member inquiries regarding account operations, service access, discrepancies, balancing, reconciliation, adding or reducing service features, and help members to use service offerings effectively.
- Follow all cash, dual control, and daily work documentation procedures, including balancing all work and cash drawer daily.
- Compensation: $15.00–$16.00/hour, final compensation based on experience, skills, education, certifications, and internal equity.
