Graduate Assistant Teacher - Sport and Resident Tutor OR Sport/ Dance and Resident Tutor
Required from September 2026
Responsibilities- Coach sport or teach dance and coach sport at all levels in the school.
- For sports positions, be able to coach two or more of the following sports:
Rugby, Netball, Hockey, Cricket, Tennis, and Athletics. - For Dance/Sport positions, be able to teach two or more styles of Dance:
Contemporary, Street, Commercial, Musical Theatre, Jazz, and Ballet, and also coach two of the following sports:
Rugby, Netball, Hockey, Cricket, Tennis, and Athletics.
Accommodation will be provided as part of the Resident Tutor role.

Context and outcomesThis position is designed to enable graduates who might be considering a teaching career to experience life in a boarding school as fully as possible. Previous Graduate Assistant Teachers have gone on to positions in education both at Dauntseys School and at other schools.
