We are looking for an experienced Endoscopy Nurse to join our team. Our wards boast great nurse to patient ratios and the Practice Plus Group Surgical Centre, Devizes has been rated Good by the CQC, putting it at the very top of the regulator's quality ratings. You will be working as part of a friendly, welcoming and expert multidisciplinary Endoscopy Team supported by our experienced Endoscopy Manager.
Schedule
- Week 1: 3 x 10.5 hr shift (07:00 - 18:00)
- Week 2: 4 x 10.5 hr shift (07:00 - 18:00)
- Provide a high‑quality standard within the Endoscopy department; maintain the highest standard of care and safety for patients, visitors and staff.
- Be competent in all aspects of clinical practice and endoscopy techniques and procedures within the Endoscopy Department.
- Provide clinical and managerial support to the Department Lead Nurse and Senior Endoscopy Nurse in the development and implementation of high‑quality care protocols to provide a highly effective fast‑track service for all Endoscopy procedures.
- Work towards developing and maintaining a cohesive multidisciplinary team.
- Registered Nurse NMC Level 1
- Registered with the appropriate professional body
- Evidence of continual professional development to meet NMC requirements
- Post‑registration experience
- IV drug administration, venepuncture and cannulation are desirable
- Previous experience in Endoscopy Principles & Procedures is an advantage
