Mechanical Project Manager – Devizes, Wiltshire – Prestigious Prison Project (MoJ)

We are working with a well-respected M&E contractor, backed by one of the UK's largest and longest-established main contractors, to recruit a Mechanical Project Manager for a prestigious prison project in Devizes, Wiltshire.

As Mechanical Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for the mechanical package on a complex custodial scheme, ensuring delivery is achieved safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

• Lead the mechanical delivery from pre-construction through to handover
• Manage subcontractors, site teams, and specialist suppliers
• Oversee programme, cost control, procurement, and reporting
• Ensure full compliance with MoJ standards, H&S, and quality procedures
• Work closely with the main contractor and client representatives
• Drive performance, coordination, and technical excellence on site

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager within building services
• Experience delivering large-scale projects (MoJ/prison experience highly desirable)
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical building services systems
• Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills
• Commercial awareness and programme management capability
• SMSTS, CSCS (Black/Gold), and relevant mechanical qualifications
