Travelers will triage patients ER Holds:
Present, intermixed Psych/Seclusion Rooms:
No Security: 911 response for behavioral patients Patient Volume: 8–25/day Ratios: 1:4 stable; 1:1–1:2 critical Common Diagnoses:
Acute illness, trauma, cardiac, respiratory, neurological, psychiatric, intoxication, allergic reactions, infectious disease Skills/
Experience:
2+ years ER experience Mix own meds, assist with respiratory meds/equipment/intubation Preferred travel experience Common Drips:
Insulin, Heparin, Levofed, Cardizem, Amiodarone, Propofol Staffing: 1 MD or NP/PA on site 24/7; second provider 11a–11p Charge Nurse/Coordinator for traumas Full-time tech 11a–11p; float CNA 11p–11a RT available 6a–6p in-house; call 24/7 RNs assist with respiratory care and read/interpret cardiac strips Equipment:
Bipap, Vent, Glidescope, Heated high flow, bubble CPAP Radiology:
Full X-ray, CT, MRI, Nuclear Med, Ultrasound Phlebotomy: RNs can draw labs if indicated Floating:
Possible to Med Surg units or behavioral support 1:1 Scrubs:
Any color Orientation: 2 days minimum Attributes for Success:

Fast-paced ER environment; RTO required upfront; no additional RTO allowed after submission.
