Job Details:

• Work 5x8 hour shifts at Devils Lake location or 4x10 hour shifts if floating between Devils Lake and Grand Forks locations

• Schedule to be discussed with manager during interview

• 13 week contract assignment

• Produce images of heart muscle and functioning by setting up ultrasound equipment

• Operate and adjust ultrasound equipment while recording cardiac data and measurements

• Assist with transesophageal cardiograms and dobutamine stress tests

• Identify cardiac anatomy according to patient age and recognize cardiac anomalies and heart disease

• Perform computer analysis and quantitative calculations of echo data

• Review echocardiograms for quality and completeness

• Collect and review clinical information prior to performing exams

• Communicate pertinent clinical information to cardiologists and physicians

• Provide patient education appropriate to procedures within scope of responsibility

• Required certifications:
North Dakota sonographer license, ARDMS/CCI, and BLS

• Current North Dakota license required prior to start date

• Must ensure written physician orders are received prior to exam performance
