Universal Worker​/CNA - Part-Time PM Shift

Overview

Eventide Lake Country Manor Assistant Living is currently seeking a Part-Time PM Shift (4 PM to 9 PM); 25 hours per pay period. The position includes every other weekend and holiday rotation. This position will be at our Assisted Living facility.

• Provides high-quality and safe personal care assistance to senior living tenants in accordance with federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, as well as Eventide policies and procedures.
• Performs housekeeping, laundry, and plans and participates in life enrichment activities as needed.
• Assists tenants with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Assists tenants with ambulation and/or therapeutic exercises.
• Reads and records vital signs and basic health data (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure, weight).
• Assists with meals and ensures adequate nutrition and fluid intake.
• Performs blood sugar testing and documents results as required.
• Provides emotional and cognitive support; socializes with tenants and engages in appropriate activities.
• Gives guidance and redirection, and re-orientation as needed.
• Develops rapport with tenants and families to understand needs and interests.
• Documents in tenant records as instructed and promptly.
• Participates in the development, implementation, and review of the tenant’s plan of care.
• Recognizes and reports significant changes in health, behavior, or general appearance to the nurse; follows infection control policies and procedures.
• Recognizes emergencies and carries out emergency procedures according to policy.
• Reports any occurrences of abuse or potential for vulnerable adult reports to a supervisor.
• Reviews communication notes at the start of each shift to stay informed of changes.
• Cleans apartments, service areas, and common areas; manages laundry and linen care; restocks supplies as needed.
• Assists with serving meals in the dining room; performs pet care per policy where applicable.

• Must have a current North Dakota CNA license or be able to obtain upon hire.

Compensation range: $18-$21 per hour for Universal Worker/CNA, based on qualifications, experience, and location. Shift premiums and differentials are available for select positions, paid on employment status and shift worked.
