Universal Worker​/CNA - PM Shift

Overview

Eventide Lake Country Manor Assisted Living is currently seeking a Full-Time Universal Worker/CNA to work the PM shift (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM). 64 hours per pay period, position includes every other weekend and holiday rotation. This position will be at our Assisted Living facility.

• Provide high-quality and safe personal care assistance to senior living tenants in accordance with federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, as well as Eventide policies and procedures.
• Perform housekeeping, laundry, and planning and life enrichment activities as needed.
• Assist tenants with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and grooming; assist with ambulation and/or therapeutic exercises.
• Assist with medications that may be self-administered; may administer oral and transdermal medications, patches, eye drops, topical ointments, and suppositories under the direction of the nurse.
• Record and monitor vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure, weight) and read/record results when applicable.
• Provide adequate nutrition and fluid intake through meal preparation; assist with dining service as needed.
• Monitor blood glucose as directed and document results.
• Provide emotional and cognitive support; socializes with tenants and participates in appropriate activities.
• Offer guidance, redirection, and re-orientation to tenants as needed; develop rapport with tenants and families to understand needs and interests.
• Document in tenant records as instructed and in a timely manner; participate in the development, implementation, and review of the tenant’s plan of care.
• Recognize and report significant changes in health, behavior, or general appearance to the nurse; comply with infection control policies and procedures; recognize emergencies and execute procedures per policy.
• Promptly report occurrences of abuse or potential for vulnerable adult reports to a supervisor; review communication notes at the start of each shift to stay informed of changes.
• Maintain cleanliness of apartments, service areas, and common areas; sort, wash, dry, and fold personal clothing and linens; restock supplies as needed.
• Assist with serving meals in the dining room and perform pet care as per policy.

• Must have a current ND CNA license or be able to obtain upon hire.

At Eventide, we offer a competitive pay range of $18–$21 per hour for Universal Worker/CNA, depending on qualifications, experience, and location. Shift premiums and differentials are available for select positions, paid on employment status and shift worked.
