Universal Worker​/CNA - Part-Time PM Shift

Overview

Eventide Lake Country Manor Assistant Living is currently seeking a Part-Time PM Shift (4 PM to 9 PM); 25 hours per pay period, position includes every other weekend and holiday rotation. This position will be at our Assisted Living facility.

Receive $2 an hour evening shift differential added to base wage.

• Provide high-quality and safe personal care assistance to senior living tenants in alignment with federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, and with the facility’s policies and procedures.
• Perform housekeeping, laundry, and planning and life enrichment activities as needed.
• Assist tenants with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Assist tenants with ambulation and/or therapeutic exercises.
• Observe and/or assist with medications that may have been ordinarily self-administered. May give oral and trans-dermal medications, patches, eye drops, topical ointments, and suppositories under the direction of the nurse.
• Read and record temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure, and weight.
• Provide adequate nutrition and fluid intake through meal preparation.
• Perform blood sugar testing and document results.
• Provide tenants with emotional and cognitive support; socialize with tenants and participate in appropriate activities (e.g., reading mail, writing letters).
• Give guidance, redirection, and re-orientation to tenants as needed.
• Develop rapport with tenants and families to understand needs and interests.
• Document in tenant records as instructed and promptly.
• Participate in development, implementation, and review of the tenant’s plan of care.
• Recognize and report significant changes in health, behavior, or general appearance to the nurse.
• Comply with infection control policies and procedures.
• Recognize emergencies and carry out emergency procedures according to policy.
• Report any occurrences of abuse or potential for vulnerable adult reports to a supervisor.
• Review communication notes at the start of each shift to stay informed of changes.
• Clean apartments, service areas, and common areas.
• Sort, wash, dry, and fold personal clothing and linens.
• Restock supplies as needed.
• Assist with serving meals in the dining room.
• Perform pet care per policy.

• Must have a current ND CNA license or be able to obtain upon hire.
