We are recruiting for a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer AWS who will join our small, dedicated Cloud Ops team working closely with Dev Ops and Service Delivery teams. Together, you'll ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of our critical cloud infrastructure using modern tools and industry best practices.

• Deploy and maintain services across AWS and Kubernetes based cloud environments.
• Manage and optimize our Elastic Stack (ELK) infrastructure for comprehensive monitoring and observability.
• Automate and continuously improve Cloud Ops workflows to enhance system performance and efficiency.
• Collaborate with the server development team to improve the performance, reliability, and scalability of our services.
• Work closely with our security team to maintain a robust and secure infrastructure posture.
• Participate in a 24x7 on call rotation (one weekly shift in a five person team) once fully onboarded.
• Work in a hybrid model, spending at least two days a week in our Enschede office.
• We offer visa assistance when you live in the Netherlands.

• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Security, or a related field (MSc or BSc).
• Experience in cloud or infrastructure engineering. A 2+ years of experience is preferred.
• Hands on, required experience with Kubernetes and public cloud platforms such as AWS or Open Stack.
• Familiarity with automation, Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible), and CI/CD practices.
• A strong, inherent security mindset across technology, processes, and organisation.
• Fluent English skills.
• Bonus points for experience with the Elastic Stack (ELK) or machine learning tools like MLflow.
