Overall experience of 2+ years in embedded Software Development and/or System Integration within the embedded Software Development space.
Embedded Linux knowledge, ideally Yocto
Knowledge of Systemd, Senior C++, and Python
Experience with grpc and other middleware technologies
Proficiency with VS Code, CMake, Git Hub
Analytical mindset with strong debugging skills
Deep understanding of software development principles, object-oriented design, design patterns, architectural styles, and best practices in software engineering
Experience in Agile development methodologies
Experience in Medical Devices product design is preferred
Experience with performance measurement tools like Valgrind, Sysprof, Perf, etc.
Ability to debug across hardware/software boundaries
Experience with static and dynamic code analysis and code coverage
Experience with build tools
Open communicator, capable of collaborating across multiple teams

Key Responsibilities:

Software Integration: Ensure correct integration and functionality of software modules from various developers and teams. Collaborate to resolve integration issues.

System Validation and Testing: Develop and execute system tests to verify component cohesion. Use automated testing tools to streamline validation.

Debugging and Troubleshooting: Analyze and resolve system integration issues at both hardware and software levels using diagnostic tools.

Documentation and Reporting: Document processes, test plans, and results. Provide regular updates to stakeholders.

Collaboration and Communication: Work with cross-functional teams, communicate effectively, and coordinate integration activities.

Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process and tool enhancements to improve efficiency and reliability.
