Clinical Nurse - Educator

Elevate clinical practice across a transitional care service providing operational support to ensure safe, high‑quality nursing services. The full time (1 FTE) Clinical Nurse Educator will work closely with the Nurse Educator to strengthen capability, promote best practice, and support continuous improvement.

Contribute to education planning, staff development, and clinical leadership across the service.

• Coordinate patient care and support smooth transitions across care settings.
• Work closely with the Nurse Educator to:
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate education initiatives.
  • Support staff competency, onboarding, and ongoing professional development.
  • Promote reflective practice and a culture of continuous learning.
• Provide clinical leadership, mentorship, and operational support to nursing teams.
• Contribute to quality, safety, and service‑development activities.

• Registered Nurse with current unrestricted AHPRA registration.
• Minimum 3 years post registration experience.
• Advanced clinical decision making and critical analysis skills.
• Experience in education, coaching, and capability building.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
• Hold current First Aid and CPR certificates.
• Hold a South Australian Working with Children Check and National Police Clearance (or are willing and eligible to obtain).
• If successful, willing and able to provide proof of up‑to‑date vaccinations.
