A family owned and operated trucking company is seeking a Full Time Experienced Dispatcher to join our team in our Detroit Office.
Qualifications- Minimum 2 years Dispatch experience is a must.
- Previous driving experience is required.
- Some weekend work.
- Taking driver and client calls.
- Receiving and responding to email alerts.
- Assigning drivers.
- Load planning, routing, and mapping.
- Managing deadhead.
- Tracking and advising.
- Updating customer portals.
- Mcloud experience is a plus but not required.
- Strong computer skills; data entry is part of the job.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to communicate clearly with both drivers and customers in a busy work environment.
- Dependable and punctual with a commitment to showing up to work and contributing to a team atmosphere.
- Excellent people skills, including the ability to work effectively with co-workers and customers.
