Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced 12‑Passenger Bus Driver to join our team. The Bus Driver will be responsible for safely transporting our ESL students to and from the Islamic Center of Detroit. This is a part‑time position with a flexible schedule.

• Safely operate a bus to transport ESL students to and from the Islamic Center of Detroit
• Ensure the safety of all passengers by following all traffic laws and driving defensively
• Maintain a clean and well‑maintained bus at all times
• Assist students with getting on and off the bus, ensuring their safety and well‑being
• Keep accurate records of daily routes, mileage, and fuel consumption
• Communicate with the Islamic Center of Detroit staff regarding any changes or delays in the schedule
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Previous experience as a bus driver or in a similar role
• Knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be reliable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
