Old Redford Academy is hiring a Sideline Cheer Head Coach for the Fall 2026 sports season.

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Sideline Cheer Head Coach for the Fall 2026 sports season. This role is ideal for an individual who is dedicated to fostering team spirit and enhancing the game day experience for athletes and fans alike.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the sideline cheer team, ensuring all routines and performances are executed safely and effectively.
  • Develop, plan, and implement training sessions to improve team performance, including choreography, stunts, and cheers.
  • Collaborate with athletic department staff and other coaches to promote integrated support for all sporting events.
  • Inspire and motivate team members, encouraging personal and athletic development while maintaining a positive team culture.
  • Coordinate with school administration and other stakeholders to plan and execute cheerleading activities during games and events.
  • Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in cheerleading coaching, with a proven track record of success in team leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of cheerleading techniques, stunts, and safety protocols.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to motivate and encourage athletes while fostering a positive and inclusive team environment.
  • Availability to work weekends, evenings, and travel for games and events as necessary.
