Role Description

Full‑time on‑site role based in Detroit, MI, for a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW). The LMSW will provide direct services, including counseling, case management, and advocacy to clients, while adhering to ethical and professional standards. Responsibilities include assessing clients’ needs, developing individualized care plans, connecting clients with community resources, and supporting them in achieving sustainable solutions. The LMSW will work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, maintain accurate documentation, and adapt services to address the diverse needs of the community.

Qualifications
  • Possess a valid and active Master’s Social Work license (LMSW) in the state of Michigan
  • Proficient in providing counseling services, case management, and advocacy
  • Strong assessment and care planning skills for addressing individual and community needs
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with connecting clients to appropriate community resources and services
  • Ability to work collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams and adapt to various situations
  • Experience with maintaining accurate and confidential documentation
  • Knowledge of local community issues and challenges is a plus
  • Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution
