Job OverviewThe Machine Repair person B & C Crew (Journeyman) reports to the Maintenance Manager and is accountable for performing mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulics, electrical and maintenance repairs at our manufacturing headquarters.
Primary Accountabilities & Responsibilities- Knowledge of hydraulics, servo motors and other mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot systems using schematics and technical drawings.
- Repair injection molding equipment, fixtures, systems, conveyors and other facility equipment as required.
- Modify, lubricate, diagnose, and operate injection molding equipment; maintain industrial control systems.
- Work independently and with team members to complete repairs safely and timely.
- Create repair reports and complete required paperwork, documenting parts and material usage.
- Follow plant safety rules and use personal protective equipment when required.
- At least 4 years of experience.
- Journeyman’s License/Certification is mandatory.
- Exceptional knowledge, experience and qualifications in maintenance and machine repair.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Strong mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to communicate with people at all organization levels.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- B-crew: 6:00 pm - 4:30 am, Tuesday to Friday (Saturday, Sunday & Monday off).
- C-crew: 6:00 am - 4:30 pm, Friday & Saturday; 6:00 pm - 4:30 am, Sunday & Monday (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday off).
