Electrical Apprentice

Job Description

Allied Building Service is seeking an apprentice with 4-5 years experience. As an electrician apprentice at Allied, you’ll work as part of a dedicated team upgrading a wide variety of commercial and industrial properties. Our electricians complete various tasks related to upgrading commercial buildings as part of their day‑to‑day job duties.

• New commercial installations
• Read and interpret plans, prints, and specifications
• Maintain a clean job site
• Communicate with customers
• Perform various electrical tasks related to upgrading commercial buildings

• A smartphone or data‑capable device
• Reliable transportation  a clean driving record and a valid driver’s license
• A clean criminal background check
• OSHA 10 is a plus but not required

Allied Building Service is a family‑owned Detroit‑based commercial contractor covering a wide range of building trades and janitorial services. We serve Southern Michigan, Northern Indiana, Northern Ohio, and the greater Denver, Colorado area. Our field staff handle electrical, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, dock and door, commercial cleaning, and high‑rise window washing. We work with a portfolio of commercial clients that includes retail businesses, non‑profit organizations, industrial buildings, and governmental entities.
