Service Technician

As a Service Technician, you will repair washers and dryers at various customer locations. An ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working independently and has a very strong mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities:

• Service washers and dryers at apartments, laundromats, hotels, athletic facilities, etc.

• Disassembles machines and examines mechanical and electrical parts.

• Reassembles appliances, adjusts pulleys, and lubricates moving parts.

• Replaces worn or defective parts and adjusts motors.

• Cleans and washes parts.

• Advises Dispatch Department of equipment in the field that should be replaced with new equipment.

• Drives a Company vehicle to and from work locations.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED.

• Good driving record.

• Customer service skills.

• Must possess effective English communication skills (oral and written). Bilingual skills (English and
Spanish) are desirable.

• Possess at least two solid years of mechanical experience and electrical knowledge (and/or training)

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis and occasionally move 200 pounds or more with a dolly/hand truck.

• Prior washer/dryer repair experience is highly desirable.

• Knowledge of local area cities and streets is desirable.
