**** THE JOB:
** The Security Field Training Officer is responsible for delivering comprehensive training to new and existing security officers, ensuring they are well-equipped to perform their duties effectively. This role emphasizes the importance of exceptional customer service, as the officer trains personnel not only in security protocols but also in creating a welcoming and safe environment for all guests and staff. The Security Field Training Officer plays a crucial role in enhancing the overall effectiveness of the security team.

** THE STARTING RATE:** $18.50    
** THE DAY-TO-DAY:
*** Maintains a high level of skill, performance, and interest in all aspects of the Security Department’s operations, rules, and procedures
* Provides an Evaluation Training Program for newly hired officers to ensure that when these officers complete this training, they have received and mastered the necessary instructions to meet the high standards of the MGM Grand Security Department
* Maintains permanent training records on all newly hired Security Officers
* Promotes and maintains the highest level of customer service to all guests while staying alert to their needs
** THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
*** Knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, and Power Point
* Excellent guest service and hospitality skills
* Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to handle and maintain confidential information
* Must have High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
* Must have 3+ years of prior relevant experience as a Security Officer
* Flexible schedule including extended hours, weekends, and holidays
