Oncology Clinical Research Coordinator Job Description
As an Oncology Clinical Research Coordinator, you will work directly with patients, conducting visits and collaborating with research nurses. You will have the support of data and regulatory teams, though a basic understanding of these areas is required. The role involves working within a disease-specific team, potentially on Phase 1 trials. You will participate in recruitment activities and contribute to the inclusion/exclusion process, supporting a variety of studies without owning or leading them.
Patient visits are evenly distributed, with no more than 10 patients per week.
- Conduct patient visits and collaborate with research nurses.
- Support data and regulatory teams with a basic understanding of these functions.
- Participate in recruitment and inclusion/exclusion processes.
- Support multiple studies across disease-specific teams without leading them.
- Manage a patient load of up to 10 per week, ensuring even distribution.
- Clinical research and trial experience, particularly in oncology.
- At least one year of patient-facing experience, including consenting patients and conducting visits.
- Bachelor's degree and clinical research certification.
- Experience with Phase 1 clinical trials.
Skills & Qualifications
- Phase 1 oncology experience.
- Clinical research certification is a plus.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Detroit, MI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $27.00 - $35.00/hr.
