Responsibilities
  • Develop superior product and disease state knowledge to engage in clinical dialogue with healthcare professionals
  • Drive outstanding sales performance to meet or exceed sales forecasts
  • Utilize assigned budgets effectively to achieve therapeutic and territory goals
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver resources and ensure successful product launch
  • Maintain administrative excellence in managing work hours, sales data, and customer objectives
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in a specialty sales environment, preferably with rare diseases and injectables
  • Ability to work in a changing environment; start-up experience preferred
  • Proven history of strong performance in sales
  • Valid driver’s license and safe driving record; overnight travel required
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a new product launch environment
  • Demonstrated experience working with patient services in distribution HUBs and specialty pharmacies
  • Ability to develop a successful business plan based on customer and patient needs
  • Experience in analyzing data/metrics to assess progress against objectives
  • Strong communication skills in establishing new customer relationships
