The Neuroscience Sales Representative is responsible for meeting or exceeding sales expectations within assigned geographies in an ethical and compliant manner. Responsibilities include engaging healthcare professionals, developing product and disease‑state knowledge, creating local strategic and tactical plans, managing budgets, and maintaining a current understanding of the market.
We are looking for sales professionals who have a passion for patients, tenacity for results, adaptability, and an entrepreneurial spirit.
Job Responsibilities- Drive sales performance to ensure forecasts are met or exceeded by calling primarily on Primary Care HCP offices and select PC targets.
- Develop product and disease‑state knowledge and effectively educate and engage healthcare professionals.
- Use assigned budgets to achieve territory objectives, customizing discussions based on customer needs.
- Operate independently to drive sales and ensure forecasts and budgets meet or exceed expectations.
- Maintain current understanding of local market, practice structures, evolving customers, and key influencers.
- Provide input into resource allocation decisions across customers and regions.
- Provide special education to healthcare providers through appropriate programs within Intra‑Cellular’s ethical guidelines.
- Develop a local business plan with District Manager and stakeholders to capitalize on business opportunities.
- Collaborate with other Neuroscience Sales Specialists on objectives and best practices.
- Provide timely and accurate administrative management of work hours, sales call data, customer objectives, and reporting.
- Meet or exceed all NSR deliverables.
- Create a compliant business plan based on depth and breadth of customer business needs and resources.
- Complete all company and job‑related training within required timelines.

- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, valid driver’s license, and safe driving record.
- Minimum 1 year of documented success in B2B sales; experience in pharmaceuticals, biologics, or medical device sales preferred.
- Experience in antipsychotic or bipolar sales is a plus.
- Strong desire to improve the lives of patients and caregivers.
- High integrity and compliance with company policies.
- Strong self‑motivation, initiative, entrepreneurial mindset, and decision‑making judgment.
- Track record of adapting to evolving environments such as COVID‑19.
- Agility and adaptability to virtual environments.
- Analytical skills to assess progress and identify new opportunities.
- Strong verbal, presentation, and listening skills.
- Experience establishing new customer relationships and communicating technical information.
- Work hours may include meetings outside normal working hours.
- Some overnight travel may be required.
- Domestic travel to headquarters, training, and sales meetings will be required periodically.
- Capable of performing all essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
Salary Range: $79,000 - $130,000
