We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Sales to lead Nuvoton’s Mass Market and Automotive sales across the Americas region
, in the semiconductor industry. This role will oversee a team of Sales Managers, Field Application Engineers, Sales Operations, Sales Representatives, and Distribution partners
. The Director will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market share, strengthening executive-level customer relationships, and achieving or exceeding regional sales targets.
This position requires a proven leader who can develop winning sales strategies, foster high-performing teams, and collaborate cross-functionally—including with various Nuvoton leadership members—to ensure that products and solutions align with customer needs and market opportunities, as well as company priorities.
Responsibilities- Responsible for all mass market and automotive sales activities in the Americas (North, Central and South America).
- Manage, coach, and develop a high performing and well-organized team of Sales Managers, Sales Operations, and Field Application Engineers to achieve regional sales goals.
- Develop and implement sales strategies encompassing both internal resources as well as the Sales Representatives and distribution partners to achieve business growth objectives.
- Deliver detailed and insightful presentations to executive leadership in alignment with corporate business review cycles (Quarterly, Annual) highlighting the region’s sales plans, and accomplishments.
- Deliver and maintain sales forecasts with a minimum of 4 QTR outlook.
- Maintain direct account responsibility for select key customers in addition to team leadership duties.
- Identify new sales opportunities, expand customer base within existing market segments and drive entry into new segments.
- Manage and drive Nuvoton’s Sales Representative and Distribution partners to consistently drive customer success and sales growth.
- Coordinate account strategy and market intelligence sharing with sales teams in Asia and Europe to ensure global alignment.
- Negotiate price and long-term supply contracts, manage pricing strategies along with marketing counterparts.
- Collaborate with Marketing team to effectively communicate product roadmaps, ensure successful product launches, and align on go-to-market strategies.
- Monitor competitive activity and market trends to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA) is a plus.
- Proficiency with CRM tools and data-driven sales forecasting and related analytics
- Minimum of 20 years of experience in managing sales organizations in semiconductor companies
- Proven track record as a sales director or equivalent.
- Experience with relevant products and end markets similar to Nuvoton’s
- Track record of growing business through Sales Representative and Distribution partners
- In depth knowledge of semiconductor industry and its addressable markets.
- Proven success in developing strategic customer relationships and managing key accounts.
- Proven track record of building strong teams and relationships in a corporate environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with excellent presentation abilities.
- Ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on account management.
