Work Schedule Ally designates roles as (1) fully on-site, (2) hybrid, or (3) fully remote. Hybrid roles are generally expected to be in the office a certain number of days per week as indicated by your manager. Your hiring manager will discuss this role's specific work requirements with you during the hiring process. All work requirements are subject to change at any time based on leader discretion and/or business need.

Ally Financial is the leading provider of financial and insurance products to the franchised auto dealer industry. Ally is currently seeking dynamic individuals to fill junior sales positions focused on existing and new Ally Dealership Insurance clients and how to better support the senior sales teams and underwriting. Qualified candidates should have a desire for career advancement, completed a Bachelor’s degree and previous proven sales experience preferred but not required.

Work Itself
- Service responsibilities include evaluating customer insurance needs, responding to inquiries about coverage and loss prevention, and working within the service team to secure necessary documents for renewal and new business applications.
- Build and maintain knowledge regarding automobile dealership operations and the automobile industry.
- Build and maintain insurance technical knowledge around the core curriculum of the CPCU designation.
- Build and maintain knowledge about current insurance markets conditions and competitors.
- Interact with various internal teams to form a full understanding of your future roles.
- Coordinate sales and servicing activities with our Account Management and National Accounts teams and all other channel partners.
- Assist the sales team with documentation processes that ensure accurate dealer account activity is tracked and reporting for leadership and our dealers.
- Responsible for assisting sales team with document submission, Salesforce updates, and dealer account activity.
- Liaison between Sales and Account Management team, ensuring efficient application and submission process flow.
- Update and manage sales reporting and regional dealer materials.
- Build and maintain sales skills, including proficiency in virtual tools.
- Must be geographically mobile within the continental USA and open to relocation within the continental United States.
- High School Diploma or GED required. A business-related undergraduate degree is highly preferred or equivalent work experience required.
- Possess the ability to get licensed for property and casualty insurance as required based on position and department assignments.
- Ability to develop business relationships with clients and internal matrix partners.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Well-developed business and time management, presentation and relationship selling skills.
- High level of accountability and ability to effectively prioritize tasks.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to objectively manage conflicting priorities.
- Ability to work independently.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and the ability to analyze data.
