We are seeking a driven, relationship-focused Sales Manager to lead and grow our Foot & Ankle medical device presence in the Detroit metropolitan market. This role is ideal for a high-performing sales professional with deep experience supporting orthopedic foot & ankle surgeons, delivering value in both the operating room and the clinic.

This position blends strategic territory management, surgeon partnership, case coverage, and revenue growth leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage a defined Detroit-area sales territory focused on Foot & Ankle specialists
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with orthopedic surgeons, podiatrists, OR staff, and hospital administrators
  • Provide in-service training and intraoperative case support for foot & ankle procedures
  • Drive revenue growth, market penetration, and surgeon adoption of products
  • Execute territory business plans, sales forecasts, and growth strategies
  • Identify and onboard new surgeon accounts while expanding existing relationships
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and leadership teams to support launches and initiatives
  • Maintain detailed CRM records and comply with all regulatory and compliance standards
  • Serve as a trusted clinical and business partner to customers
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of orthopedic or medical device sales experience (Foot & Ankle strongly preferred)
  • Proven success selling in the operating room environment
  • Existing relationships within the Detroit / Southeast Michigan orthopedic market preferred
  • Strong understanding of foot & ankle anatomy, procedures, and surgical workflows
  • Demonstrated ability to grow a territory and close complex sales
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and results-driven
  • Willingness to travel locally and provide after-hours case coverage as needed
  • Competitive base salary + uncapped commission
