As an Area Sales Manager, you’ll drive customer acquisition in your territory by building relationships, delivering in-person demos, and ensuring successful onboarding of new clients. You’ll have clear activity and performance targets—and the opportunity to build a lucrative, long-term career.
Compensation That Rewards Performance
We believe great performance deserves great pay. Our compensation model is structured to provide predictable earnings with uncapped upside:
- Base Salary: $75,000 annually
- Monthly Activity Bonus: $625/month — historically, 100% of ASMs earn this
- Quarterly Performance Bonuses: Ranging from $2,800 to $28,000 based on customer acquisition
- First-Year Total Compensation: Ranges from $95,200 for low performers to $196,000+ for high performers
What Sets Us Apart:
At Sky, your annual salary is reset every year to include your previous year’s total earnings—base salary + bonuses. That means if you earn $196K in Year 1, that becomes your new base + bonus target in Year
2. With the same uncapped bonus structure in place, you have a path to earn $300K–$500K annually within 2 years.

Sales Strategy & Territory Execution- Develop and execute a sales plan to hit activity and revenue targets in your assigned territory
- Attend local/state association events and trade shows to generate leads
- Partner with the Sky marketing team to drive pipeline and brand awareness
- Conduct in-person demos and consultations
- Collaborate with our onboarding and implementation teams to ensure customer success
- Build long-term relationships with clients and identify upsell opportunities
- Accurately manage pipeline and track activity in Hub Spot CRM
- Report territory performance weekly and provide market feedback to leadership
- 2+ years of outside sales experience in aggregates, ready mix, asphalt, concrete, precast, or sales in the broader construction industry.
- Strong hunter mentality with the discipline to follow structured sales processes
- Experience with CRM tools (Hub Spot preferred)
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and closing skills
- Willingness to travel up to 50%
