Join Hallmark Cards as a part‑time Field Merchandiser in Detroit, MI. As a Field Merchandiser you will work independently to showcase organization and time‑management skills, establish retailer relationships, and act as the face of Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement and maintain inventory levels, and support fellow team members with seasonal resets and installations when needed.

As a Field Merchandiser, you will:

• Perform service work in Hallmark departments of various retail stores.
• Utilize a mobile device to restock, organize, and monitor inventory.
• You are responsible for the entire Hallmark product display at assigned stores.

• Starting pay: $14.00 – $14.75 per hour, depending on skills and experience.
• Part‑time position with a variable schedule during the work week.
• Average weekly hours: 4 – 10 hours.
• Availability the week before and after major holidays, including weekends, is required.

• Day‑to‑day engagement: restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark products using technology for communication, reporting time, providing feedback, and answering surveys.
• Holiday support: anticipate additional days and extended hours around Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. You may be required to work on the holiday itself.
• Department resets: build and install Hallmark fixtures, relocate card departments and products, and reset card sections. Notification occurs at least two weeks in advance.
• Team support: collaborate with other merchandisers when needed.

This is a physically demanding job requiring the ability to push, pull, lift, and carry cartons and fixtures up to 30 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally. You must kneel, squat, walk, and stand throughout the day and may be required to climb stairs and ladders.

• At least 18 years of age.
• Readable, write, and understand English.
• Able to lift up to 30 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Competent with digital handheld devices for reading documents.
• Access to Wi‑Fi and the internet.
• Reliable transportation to travel to assigned stores.
