The Breakfast Buffet Attendant creates a welcoming and satisfying morning dining experience for guests by preparing, presenting, and maintaining the breakfast buffet to Hyatt’s high standards. This role ensures food quality, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction, reflecting Hyatt’s commitment to care and hospitality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up, replenish, and maintain the breakfast buffet with fresh, appealing food and beverages.
  • Greet guests warmly, answer questions about menu items, and accommodate reasonable requests.
  • Monitor food temperatures and presentation to ensure safety and quality standards are met.
  • Keep the buffet area, dining space, and service stations clean, organized, and well-stocked.
  • Assist with brewing coffee, preparing simple hot and cold items, and restocking condiments.
  • Clear tables promptly and reset them for incoming guests.
  • Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines.
  • Communicate with the kitchen and management regarding supply needs or guest feedback.
Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Previous hospitality or food service experience preferred, but not required.
  • Friendly, approachable, and guest-focused demeanor.
  • Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic knowledge of food safety practices.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
  • Bend, reach, and move quickly to meet service needs.
