The opportunity

Delaware North Sport service is hiring seasonal Catering Servers to join our team at Comerica Park in Detroit, Michigan. As a Catering Server, you will provide outstanding guest service while serving food and beverages in a banquet setting. Please note this is a tipped position; the hourly minimum pay listed doesn’t include any potential tipped earnings.

$7.60 – $7.60 / hour

• Set up tables following the banquet event orders
• Serve food and beverages to guests promptly; replenish buffet line food as needed
• Monitor guest needs, ensuring all requests are promptly fulfilled; handle any guest complaints
• Follow all alcoholic beverage policies and procedures
• Break down the event according to company procedures

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Excellent guest service skills
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• The ability to take food and beverage orders and fill those orders correctly
• No high school diploma or GED required

• Ability to stand or walk, including up and down stairs, for the entire length of the shift
• Ability to lift 35 pounds
• Ability to work in variable indoor and outdoor temperatures and weather conditions
