Delaware North Sport service is hiring seasonal Catering Runners to join our team at Comerica Park in Detroit, Michigan. Our Busser and Runner team are outgoing, guest-oriented team of members that contribute to the success of events like luncheons, weddings, proms, business meetings, and other functions. • Set tables and buffet areas for service
• Accommodate all guests and address inquiries
• Replenish buffet food, refill beverages, and remove dirty dishes from tables
• Assist in additional tasks to help facilitate a smooth and efficient service

• 18 years or older
• Customer service oriented, positive attitude, an openness to learn, and a desire to contribute to a team
• Strong work ethic with the ability to multitask, work quickly, and efficiently in a high-volume,f fast-paced environment
• Very organized with a strong attention to detail and effective communication
• Possess basic knowledge of standard drink recipes and alcohol brand names
• Available for part-time, on-call events that include nights, weekends, and holidays
• No high school diploma or GED required

• Constant standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive motions
• Ability to maneuver between tables and around corners
• Ability to lift, balance, and move large food trays, weighing up to 35 pounds
• Visual acuity and hearing sufficient to take orders and prepare bills
