General Job Summary

The Detroit Land Bank Authority (DLBA)’s mission is to return vacant properties to productive use. At the same time, the City of Detroit is facing a critical shortage of safe, affordable, and turnkey housing. To achieve this directive, the DLBA is seeking ways to streamline and reduce barriers to development on public land through advanced site preparation. The Project Manager II will complete a variety of assignments designed to make DLBA-owned land development-ready and help potential buyers through the building process.

This position will assist in early-stage support by helping address challenges such as rezonings, parcel modifications, environmental assessments, utility hookups, incentive approvals, and site selection. As site preparation timelines differ, the Project Manager will need to balance multiple projects at once.
