About the Company / The Opportunity:
Our client is a national publicly-traded REIT specializing in the acquisition and management of diversified medical real estate assets. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Commercial Property Manager to oversee a distinctive medical property portfolio. You’ll join a seasoned team of cross-functional professionals committed to operational excellence and continuous growth in a dynamic, mission-driven environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with tenants and healthcare system decision makers.
- Address tenant concerns professionally and efficiently to ensure high satisfaction and retention.
- Schedule and conduct regular meetings with tenants to review property operations and gather feedback.
- Maximize recoverable income and proactively manage property budgets and cash flows across the portfolio.
- Monitor expense variances, review accounts receivable, and manage delinquent payments with recommended actions as needed.
- Prepare five-year capital plans, annual operating budgets, and monthly financial reports for review and approval.
- Approve vendor invoices, oversee building inspections, and coordinate all phases of tenant move-in and move-out processes.
- Ensure operational compliance, maintain lease documentation, and support leasing efforts, acquisitions, and dispositions as required.
Must-Have Skills:
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in commercial real estate property management; medical building experience strongly preferred.
- Comprehensive knowledge of property accounting, building systems, and construction processes.
- Experience with MRI, Yardi, AVID, or FAS property management systems.
- Exceptional communication and tenant relationship management skills.
- Strong initiative and personal accountability.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience managing outpatient medical facilities and working with healthcare systems.
- Familiarity with building operations compliance and vendor contract management.
- Ability to support acquisition and disposition processes.
- Strong rapport with the local and regional business community.
