$20,000 SIGN-ON BONUS! CRNA's - Experienced and New Graduates!
Schedule- No night shifts. Mix of 8, 10, and 12‑hr shifts.
- No weekends, no holidays.
Administers intravenous and inhalation anesthetics to render persons insensible to pain during endoscopy scopes and advanced procedures. Potentially administers anesthesia to all ages and A.S.A. classes of patients, including geriatrics and pediatrics.
Principle Duties And Responsibilities- Provides leadership in the professional practice setting.
- Supports and contributes to the professional development of peers and colleagues.
- Delegates tasks to assistive personnel in a respectful professional manner.
- Identifies patient problems and collaborates with the anesthesia / surgeon / perioperative team in the selection of appropriate interventions (tasks).
- Interacts with members of the health‑care team to plan and coordinate the perioperative care.
- Promotes a healthy work environment through the promotion of professional communication standards, commitment to co‑workers, and positive problem resolution.
- Conducts appropriate pre‑anesthetic assessments and documents findings.
- In collaboration with the anesthesiologist, determines the appropriate anesthetic plan of management and manages all aspects of anesthesia care to include preoperative, perioperative, and immediate postoperative care.
- Maintains complete and accurate documentation of care for all procedures.
- Provides airway management and/or intubations for emergent, non‑emergent, and resuscitation situations throughout the hospital.
- Anticipates and exceeds patient and customer expectations that meet all elements of the Henry Ford Experience.
- Identifies services and care improvement ideas and acts on them to create excellent customer experiences.
- Demonstrates, supports, and assumes personal accountability for consistently upholding team members to the standards across the System and adhering to Henry Ford Health policies and procedures.
- Recognizes the unique contribution of all health‑care team members to the patient experience.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Independently uses and documents the nursing process to plan, deliver, and evaluate goal‑focused, individualized, safe, age‑specific care for all patients including those with complex pathophysiological or psychosocial needs.
- Seeks to understand and incorporate both safe practices and evidence‑based practices into daily nursing care.
- Maintains compliance with regulatory standards regarding practice, environment, and documentation.
- Directs and delegates nursing care based on patient acuity and staff competency in line with the nurse’s obligation to provide optimum patient care.
- Participates in quality improvement / patient safety initiatives and programs.
- Participates in professional development and continuous learning.
- Contributes to establishing, maintaining, and improving the workplace environment that encourages respectful interactions, support of peers, and identification of issues that need addressing.
- Maintains knowledge and skills in appropriate technology.
- Provides education for staff, colleagues, patients, and/or families.
- Precepts new staff and students as requested.
- Provides and documents individualized patient and family education.
- Maintains and demonstrates current clinical knowledge in the area of specialty.
- Integrates research findings into practice.
- Participates in community activities and/or professional organizations.
- Represents Henry Ford Health by promoting an atmosphere of care, concern, pride, and respect to internal and external customers.
- Maintains awareness of personal actions and activities and the impact on the image of nursing.
- Aware of financial implications of actions and decisions based on factors related to safety and effectiveness.
- Supports the unit financially by using resources in a cost‑effective manner.
