Responsibilities- Provide critical care nursing care in the Harborview ICUs (2EH, 7MB, 9MB, 9EH, 2WH) and the Critical Care Float Pool, including care for critically ill cardiac disease, trauma, burn, and other conditions, and for patients with multi-system organ failure and complex medical-surgical diagnoses.
- Support interprofessional care, patient management, and family-centered care in a high-acuity setting.
- Critical Care Float Pool RNs may float among the ICUs, as well as to the ED, and to PACU, and also potentially to acute care and ICU border areas as needed. (
Note:
Critical Care Float Pool positions require 3+ years ICU RN work experience.)
- Requires min. 1-2 years ICU RN work experience.

- 2EH ICU – 90% FTE Nights positions currently open (note: 8MB Unit planned move to 2EH fall 2025).
- 7MB ICU – 90% FTE Nights positions currently open.
- 9MB ICU – no positions currently open, but may arise.
- 9EH ICU – 90% FTE Nights positions currently open.
- 2WH ICU – 90% FTE Nights positions currently open.
$10,000 Sign-on Bonus for eligible new part-time and full-time employees joining UW Medicine
- Pay Range Minimum: $91,152.00 annual
- Pay Range Maximum: $ annual
- Other compensation: $10,000 Recruiting Incentive for eligible candidates; $1/hour BSN premium; $1.25/hour nursing specialty certification; $4.50/hour nights; $4/hour weekends;
