The Med Surg RN provides comprehensive nursing care for a diverse group of acute‑care patients. This role requires strong clinical judgment, effective communication, and collaboration with physicians, ancillary departments, and interdisciplinary teams. Med‑Surg nurses at the Detroit Medical Center play key roles in leadership, patient education, and ensuring safe, evidence-based care.
Qualifications- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (required)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – State of Michigan (required)
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)
