CRNA opportunity working three 11am-11pm shifts in Austin, TX where we have 300 days of sunshine a year!

Anesthesia services are provided across the St. David’s Health Care system in the Austin area. St. David’s Medical Center is home to the Texas Cardiac Arrhythmia Institute and St. David’s Neuroscience & Spine Institute, offering comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care. Our practice also provides anesthesia services ’s North Austin Medical Center, South Austin Hospital, Round Rock Medical Center, and accompanying outpatient surgery centers.

Our practice covers a full range of specialties, including general inpatient and outpatient cases, trauma, OB, neuro, EP, and more. CRNAs perform spinals and, on a case-by-case basis, epidurals and arterial lines.

11am – 11pm, consecutive weekdays (Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday or Wednesday/Thursday/Friday). Quarterly weekend call.

Our care team model focuses on ensuring every voice is heard, while supporting, respecting, and helping to deliver care excellence.

Responsibilities

• Pre-anesthesia assessment
• Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
• Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
• Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitoring of the patient s physiological condition
• Performance of clinical intervention as needed

Qualifications

• Current license as a registered professional nurse
• Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
• Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists

• Salary:
  Based on years of experience: $200K – $260K (will be prorated to 0.9 FTE)
