ResponsibilitiesThis position will help to manage the in-basket, complete patient encounters via the RN triage line, as well as in person visits for incision checks, blood pressure evaluations, as well as pre-surgical teachings.

32 hours a week scheduled between 8:30-5
This position requires one half Saturday 3-4 times a year (a half clinic on the third Saturday of the month, split amongst all staff RNs)

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Successful completion of Henry Ford Ambulatory orientation.
Maintains and demonstrates current clinical knowledge in area of specialty.
Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.
Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and medical group personnel.
Preferred Experience In The SpecialtyBasic computer knowledge and keyboarding skills.
L&D Experience RequiredPreferred in-basket experience.
GYN Experience Preferred Certifications/Licenses RequiredCurrent licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing as a Registered Nurse.
Current BLS or ACLS per Henry Ford Health policy.
Certification will be required when it is a regulatory requirement in the State of Michigan or a documented community standard, i.e., Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN).
