Inpatient/Outpatient: 100% inpatient
Case Load: 100% Pediatrics/Neonatal
Schedule: Full‑Time. 36 Hours per week. Rotating shifts Sunday through Saturday, days, nights, and weekends.
Position Overview: Henry Ford Health seeks a full‑time (36 hours/week) Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join the dedicated neonatology team at Henry Ford St. John Children’s Hospital. The role provides oversight of Level III neonatal care within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. Responsibilities include delivering comprehensive neonatal care, performing bedside procedures, and attending deliveries. We are a team committed to putting patients and families first.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and a passion for high‑quality neonatal care. New graduates are welcome and will be considered, with opportunities to grow and advance skill sets in Level III NICU practice.

Qualifications:
- Completion of a Nurse Practitioner training program accredited by the Commission on the Collegiate of Nursing Education (CCNE) or the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC).
- Certification by a certification body recognized by the State of Michigan.
Licensure and Certification:
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Michigan, or in process of applying (must provide proof of application).
- National certification as an NP.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- DEA/CSL, required through credentialing.
Experience:
- Credentialing: RN in the State of Michigan, National Board NNP Certification, BLS, NRP and Master of Nursing, required.
- Federal DEA License.
Skills:
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, multidisciplinary environment.
- Commitment to patient‑centered care and continuous professional development.
