Every other weekend required.
6 months RN experience with Telemetry preferred.
General SummaryProvides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care.
Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and families.
Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to the health care team.
Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.
Unit OverviewH5 patients – Advanced heart failure, VADS (ventricular assist device), arrhythmias, status post procedure and any cardiac diagnosis.
This department provides experience preparing a nurse for future ICU work.
Work with progressive drips.
Education / Experience Required- BSN preferred.
- Graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
- Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.
- Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
Night job – 36 hours per week. Selected days require overnight shifts.
Every other weekend required.
