Our Nursing Assistants are more than just caregivers; they are friends and companions to our guests. They build relationships with our patients and families while providing assistance with activities of daily living. Our CNAs are uniquely positioned to notice changes in mood and behavior that help our clinical team recognize potential medical issues. We rely on our Nursing Assistants as a fundamental and valuable component of our clinical nursing team.

You will earn: earn up to $24.65 per hour on 2nd shift!

  • Starting wage $20.00 per hour
  • Plus $1.25 per hour shift premium for second shift
  • Plus $3.40 per hour hero pay
  • Yearly wage increases

Scheduling Options:

  • 8‑hour shifts include rotating weekends and some holidays
  • Full‑time and part‑time available
  • Afternoons / 2nd shift – full‑time or part‑time available
  • Midnights – full‑time available

How You Will Help People Every Day:

  • You will perform and document patient care using individualized care plans. Bathing, skin care, preventative and supportive care, routine morning and evening mouth care, shaving, dressing.
  • You will perform and document nutritional intake, blood pressure, TPRs, catheter care, bowel/bladder training, weights, turning, positioning, range of motion, and ambulation.
  • You will support physical, psychological, occupational, speech, restorative and recreational therapies by encouraging and promoting well‑being.
  • You will observe and report significant changes in routine or condition as appropriate to your nursing team.
  • You will promote hospitality and excellent customer service in every daily interaction with guests, their families, and visitors, fostering a positive, healthy environment.

What You Will Need to Be Part of Our EPIC Team:

  • Completed approved nursing assistant training program, with current CNA certification required from the State of Michigan.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with residents, physicians, visitors and staff.
  • Basic computer skills; experience with electronic charting a plus.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering excellent, passionate, innovative care.
  • Team player, dedicated to supporting team members and getting the job done.
