Nurse Manager RN Full Time – Vibra Healthcare

Welcome to Vibra Healthcare. We are looking for a Nurse Manager to lead our 28‑bed Critical Care Hospital located in Detroit, MI. The role involves overseeing the operations of a nursing unit, ensuring efficient, high‑quality patient care, and supporting staff through training, scheduling, and staffing decisions.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee overall operations of assigned nursing unit and ensure delivery of efficient, high‑quality patient care.
  • Provide direct care as needed and delegate/supervise all nursing care per applicable Nurse Practice Act.
  • Work with staff and management to develop systems and procedures for daily operations.
  • Provide training, information, and support to resolve problems and meet objectives.
Required Skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or current program with a two‑year completion date.
  • Valid, active Registered Nurse license in the state of employment.
  • Minimum one year of nursing management experience.
  • Minimum three years of nursing experience.
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications from a Vibra‑approved vendor.
Additional Qualifications / Skills
  • Critical care experience preferred.
  • Experience in an acute care setting preferred.
  • Knowledge of operations, staffing, scheduling, budget management, workflow planning, and staff development.
  • Ability to manage nursing practice aligned with hospital mission.
  • Experience recruiting and hiring qualified staff.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
  • Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to make independent decisions when warranted.
  • Computer and software proficiency relevant to job functions.
