Nurse Manager RN Full Time – Vibra Healthcare
Welcome to Vibra Healthcare. We are looking for a Nurse Manager to lead our 28‑bed Critical Care Hospital located in Detroit, MI. The role involves overseeing the operations of a nursing unit, ensuring efficient, high‑quality patient care, and supporting staff through training, scheduling, and staffing decisions.
Responsibilities- Oversee overall operations of assigned nursing unit and ensure delivery of efficient, high‑quality patient care.
- Provide direct care as needed and delegate/supervise all nursing care per applicable Nurse Practice Act.
- Work with staff and management to develop systems and procedures for daily operations.
- Provide training, information, and support to resolve problems and meet objectives.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or current program with a two‑year completion date.
- Valid, active Registered Nurse license in the state of employment.
- Minimum one year of nursing management experience.
- Minimum three years of nursing experience.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from a Vibra‑approved vendor.
- Critical care experience preferred.
- Experience in an acute care setting preferred.
- Knowledge of operations, staffing, scheduling, budget management, workflow planning, and staff development.
- Ability to manage nursing practice aligned with hospital mission.
- Experience recruiting and hiring qualified staff.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
- Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills.
- Ability to make independent decisions when warranted.
- Computer and software proficiency relevant to job functions.
