Unit Educator – Registered Nurse (Pulmonary)

Schedule: Full‑time, 40 hours per week.
Shift: Day shifts, Detroit, MI.
Salary: $51,000.00–$80,000.00 per year.

As a Unit Educator, you will work under the leadership of the Nurse Manager, collaborating with the Clinical Nurse Specialist and Nursing Development Educators to plan, implement, and evaluate educational and quality‑improvement activities on the unit.

• Plan, implement, and evaluate educational and quality‑improvement activities on the nursing unit.
• Model excellence in patient care through clinical practice, continuous quality improvement, and integration of new nursing knowledge into practice.
• Adhere to all standards of nursing care and internal job‑description standards.
• Internal candidates must apply using the internal profile portal.

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
• Current Michigan RN licensure required.
• Equivalent of four years of clinical experience with a defined patient population preferred.
• Demonstrated interest and ability to teach patients, families, and co‑workers.
• Leadership, communication, problem‑solving, organization, flexibility, self‑directiveness, and initiative required.
• Health care provider certification (BCLS) required.
